Ottawa-based encaustic teacher and artist Christina Lovisa will present a demo on a program she teaches called Two Worlds Collide - an uncommon approach to combining mixed media and encaustic art.
Christina Lovisa, artiste et enseignante des techniques encaustiques, fera une présentation et une démonstration intitulée : Two Worlds Collide – ce qui est en effet, une approche différente pour les médias mixtes et l’art encaustique.

2. Call for Artists!
The Arteast website has launched a new page, an Artists' Gallery (replacing the previous members link page) a few weeks ago.
Arteast Ottawa is pleased to offer its members a new opportunity to drive traffic to your artist website, social media account or third party seller platform through the Artists' Gallery on the Arteast website.
You can find the link to this new page on the Arteast website under the “Home” tab. If you would like to join the Artists' Gallery please have a look at the Artists' Gallery page (https://arteastottawa.com/artists-gallery/). The Artists' Gallery Guidelines (https://arteastottawa.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Artists-Gallery-Guidelines-July-2020.pdf) will explain everything you need to know. 3. Misc.
Wall Candy Art Expo is in its third year, and we are continuing to adapt and find creative ways to offer a space for the creative community within an affordable and accessible model.
Wall Candy Art Expo is offering a unique and creative outdoor two-day market, open to artists and artisans in the Ottawa area (and beyond). It is being held as an outdoor market at Wesley Clover Parks (which is easily accessible from Highway 417, off Moodie Drive), and is taking place over the thanksgiving weekend (October 10th and 11th from 11am - 4pm).
