Open Studio days are the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.
Time: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
At St-Laurent Complex Centre, Visual Arts Studio
525 Côté Street ,Ottawa, ON, K1K 0Z8.
Open Studio provides opportunity for members to meet and work
on their artworks in a casual setting. (Bring a lunch, tea provided)

2. Arteast Summer Field Trip to Montreal
From Africa to the Americas: Face to Face Picasso AND Old Montreal

Itinerary - Friday, June 15, 2018
8:15 a.m. Leave the Shenkman Art Centre by air-conditioned bus
10:30 a.m. Arrival at Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
11:00 a.m. Self guided tour with audio guides
12:00 p.m., Lunch or brown bag at the gallery (your cost)
Free time to roam the galleries
2:00 p.m. Depart museum
2:30 p.m. Arrival at Old Montreal for plein air, (painting, sketching, photography, etc)
Optional supper or brown bag at local venues (your cost)
6:00 p.m. Departure for Ottawa
8:00 - 9:00 p.m. Arrival at the Shenkman Centre, depending on traffic and stop for a break.
Price: $50/member $60/non-member
Included in the price is bus transportation, entrance fees and tour guides.
We need at least 32 people for the trip to be viable.
Complete form and register before June 1st

10 h 30 Arrivée au Musée des Beaux-arts de Montréal
11 h: Réception des guides audio-visuels pour Exposition
12 h Lunch au musée à vos frais ou apportez votre goûter
14:00 h Départ du musée
14:30 h Arrivée au Vieux-Montréal pour une session de plein air (peinture, croquis ou photographie)
Souper: À vos frais ou dégustez votre propre goûter
18 h 00 Retour à Ottawa
20h-21h Arrivée au Centre Shenkman selon la circulation et la pause-santé, si c’est le cas
Minimum de 32 personnes pour faire le voyage possible
Frais : 50 $ membres ; 60$ non-membres
Les frais incluent le transport, les frais d’admission au Musée des Beaux-arts et les guides.

3. Member's Announcements
Bright studio space coming available in Canotek Business Park as of April 2018. The Old Stick Cooperative Studio consists of 5 visual artists who share this second-floor facility in east Ottawa. In addition to individual workstations, Old Stick Cooperative Studio members share a large work table, small kitchenette, toilet facilities and occasional Open House Shows/Sales. Monthly rent of $139 includes heat, air conditioning, and hydro.
